Redes e instituições de ensino, públicas e privadas, devem definir as estratégias de implementação da lei até o início do ano letivo. Objetivo é mitigar os impactos negativos do uso excessivo de celulares A Lei nº 15.100/2025, que restringe o uso de celulares nas escolas, já está em vigor. Cabe a cada uma das redes de ensino e escolas, públicas e privadas, definirem suas próprias estratégias de implementação até o início do ano letivo. A legislação surge em resposta ao crescente debate sobre o uso desses aparelhos nas escolas, que gera grande preocupação a especialistas e à população em geral, devido aos impactos negativos no aprendizado, na concentração e na saúde mental dos jovens. Para auxiliar na implementação da lei, o Ministério da Educação (MEC) lançou dois guias na sexta-feira, 31 de janeiro: um destinado às redes de ensino e outro às escolas. Os documentos apresentam algumas orientações gerais a serem seguidas, como: Comunicação e conscientização: as escolas devem informar professores, alunos e famílias sobre a vigência da lei e as novas regras para uso de celulares. Material de apoio: o MEC já disponibiliza cursos para professores sobre como orientar os alunos no uso responsável da tecnologia; novos cursos serão lançados em breve. Autonomia escolar: cada rede e escola pode definir formas de aplicação da restrição, respeitando a legislação, mas adequando as regras à sua realidade. Acompanhamento e fiscalização: o cumprimento da lei deve ser monitorado pelas próprias escolas e redes de ensino, sem penalizações universais impostas pelo governo federal. Suporte para as famílias: o MEC oferecerá webinários e orientações específicas para os pais, auxiliando-os a compreender a importância da restrição e como apoiar seus filhos nessa transição. Vale lembrar que a lei não proíbe totalmente o uso de celulares, mas restringe seu uso durante aulas, recreios e intervalos, para que os alunos possam se concentrar nas atividades diárias e interagir com outras pessoas. O uso ainda é permitido para fins pedagógicos com autorização do professor e para casos de acessibilidade, saúde e segurança. Assim, a medida visa salvaguardar a saúde mental, física e psíquica de crianças e adolescentes, promovendo um ambiente escolar mais saudável e equilibrado. “Nós sabemos que o mundo digital é importante e o quanto a educação digital é também uma dimensão fundamental, que, inclusive, tem sido trabalhada nos últimos anos”, destaca a secretária de Educação Básica, Kátia Schweickardt. “A questão está na racionalidade do uso, isso está evidente por meio de diversos estudos e pesquisas. Queremos otimizar o uso e potencializar os benefícios, mas mitigar os efeitos nocivos. Os nossos jovens têm muita dificuldade de concentração, além de uma série de danos socioemocionais que vêm sendo causados pelo mau uso da tecnologia”, conclui. Dados – Diversos estudos apontam que o uso excessivo de telas pode prejudicar o desempenho acadêmico, reduzir a interação social e aumentar índices de ansiedade e depressão entre crianças e adolescentes. Uma pesquisa do Datafolha de outubro de 2024 apontou que: 62% da população é a favor da proibição do celular nas escolas, chegando a 65% entre pais de crianças até 12 anos; e 76% acreditam que o uso de celulares prejudica mais do que ajuda no aprendizado. Já um estudo da Nexus, também realizado no ano passado, informou que 86% dos brasileiros são a favor da restrição do uso de celulares nas escolas e que 54% apoiam a proibição total, enquanto 32% defendem o uso apenas para atividades pedagógicas autorizadas por professores.
